Not really cost effective to move to TX, as they have a different property tax structure, and I think that QC bought the land they own years ago, when land in Sorrento Valley was cheap. Low purchase price = lower property taxes. Also, H1Bs make it relatively cheap and easy to hire labor as most Asians like the idea of relocating to CA. TX, not so much.
