Q wants to renew its pool of slaves frequently by bringing new H-1Bs blood on regular basis and replacing America workforce in the process thru phone PIPs; this is modern slavery by making workforce work tirelessly or being threatened to be deported in the case of visa workers ; in California, there is a 40 hours work per week California law; but in reality to survive this competition at QCOM, workers may have to work twice as much hours per week and infringe this law in the process. Qualcomm is the most corrupt private company in the country, and has politicians in its pocket in order to continue this corrupt practice. One never hears about class action lawsuit against QCOM. Until there is a change in political leadership, Qualcomm will continue this practice. That is why Qualcomm pays many millions of dollars to Washington DC lobbyists and politicians to be able to continue this practice without being caught up.

They will withdraw it faster than the speed of light. Even if you try to ask them to keep it just for a week or two until you find another job, they will ignore you. They treat people horribly when they leave either by lay off, termination, or quitting.

Of course they will what the hell are you thinking. This is the most corrupt private sector company in the country.

I-140 servers one purpose for them: enslaved immigrants.

The process of getting it in the first place being so slow is no coincidence either. They underpay legal counsel to make it slow. The slower it is the longer you're their slave.

Go QC!

Yes, they will ask for the withdrawal of the I140 calculator from your shirt pocket on your last day. You will have to get a new one to wear at your next engineering job.
