They have a vacation home down there. Because it is very sressful job. While everybody works their tail off HR is doing what they do best. Make sure the company is not at risk of being sued or in any kind if trouble. They say they take notes during the meeting but are really drawing stick cartoons.

HR Lady is being serviced on the beach of Los cabos San Lucas by some black dude, while H-1bs are slaving in the Sorrento valley sweatshop.
If the company is not at risk of anything then they don't care. Won't return or answer calls until middle of the week. All that vacation sun really gets them tired. Manicure and pedicure sessions are held mondays and fridays.
