You know you just need to talk with an SLB manager and you will instantly realize the quality of the person you are talking with so I don't understand the low compensation we get.

You may have been best performing 15 years ago, but that ship sailed a long time ago. There is nothing special between an SLB, BHI or HAL manager. If anything the other two are usually better because they don't have the unjustified arrogance.
Dealing with SLB as an operator representative is a real beating. I'm glad they don't have that much work with us.
SLB relies on high turnover (independent of market conditions) to keep overhead low. You do not amass a war chest the way SLB has by paying in the upper third salary ranges. Once you leave you are replaced by someone who will be paid less and the cycle starts again (not recently).
Also, you are not that special, cupcake. SLB isn't exclusively hiring from Ivy League and those kids would be hard pressed to 1) enter the market in its current state and 2) accept a menial salary.
Halliburton pays best but expects the best. No training.

what the OP meant is that SLB trains their employees very well and its known by its industry peers. But with progression in knowledge and development, salary doesn't necessarily schew to market value as one progress their SLB career. Meanwhile, outsiders mostly appreciate any available ex-SLB employees because they know how rigorous training they went thru to be a good slave only to be let our due to unforeseen circumstances or natural disaster.
What an idiot!
dont kid yourself ........ Your not that great ... keep drinking the blue koolaid.

Sounds like u were so smart that you couldn't figure out a bad deal before you signed up......
