Why are Schlumberger and Halliburton managers paid more than Weatherford managers?

are we any worse than those guys? I don't think so!

Yes you are worse than those guys, a lot worse actually.

SLB gets their new hires from graduate schools.

HAL gets their new hires from universities.

WFT gets their new hires from prisons.

SLB and HAL tend to hire a higher calibre employee/manager which costs more than the lower skilled/capability employee that weatherford tend to get on the cheap. We may save some costs in the salaries but the performance of the company has been terrible over the last 10 years or so and paying cheap for sub standard employees equates to lower performance. When will upper management learn???

Over the last couple of years, at SRO, the managers that WFT had been hiring were inexperienced or rejects from Baker Hughes.
