Yeah real good at PPT's, but NO experience or common sense.

I agree, and think most of the posters are bitter ex-employees such as myself. The remaining employees are Managers don't know anything about computers other than crafting an amazing PPT presentation which is just full of empty promises and BS.
Halliburton spent millions, if not billions, copying Schlumberger management techniques, instead of admitting that Schlumberger will ALWAYS be #1 in logging services.
Halliburton should have saved that money, and concentrated on maintaining its lead in pumping services, downhole tools, and maybe one, or possibly two of its other PSL's.
Or it's true; sometimes the truth hurts, and real leaders learn as they go. Or you just keep trying what failed until you crash the company. It will not hurt anyone to listen.
