I hear mixed things, what is really going on? is SLB making enough revenue? or will there be pay cuts? furloughs? and/or layoffs? Or is it this over with and we are back to good times? Will you please post real answers and keep it "G" Rated? My kids read these comments to see how mama's work is doing... So post nicely!

We just heard from SLB. Another 15% cut in rig bonuses effective 1-june-16. That's 43% cut so far. Back to 1981 wages. And yes more layoffs coming. Remember the SLB management wants to keep the stock price elevated. If wall street sees revenues down but profit margins way up the share price reacts positively.
Depends. Has mama been sucking upper management c0ck and spreading her butt cheeks enough? If not, she's woefully out of luck.

They just fired a lot of people this month and we just dont know when it will stop

Good times at slb???? those days are overlong ago the company used to be top notch they have turned into the worse scum that there is to work for. i left a few years back and will tell you if you want the good times look elsewhere. they profit off the backs of there employees then throw them out when they are done truely scum

SLB has tried furloughs, mandatory and voluntary, they're implementing some iLOAs (incentivized leave of absences) notice I say incentivized - they pay you to take a LOA, then pay you again when you come back or if they extend it they pay you again (WTH?? How is this saving money???) Yet they are still paying all kinds of bonuses and incentives, but no they have to send most of HR to Colombia??? Why don't they just cut out all the BONUSES!!?? They pay performance bonuses quarterly, sign on bonuses at sign-on, mobility bonuses, housing allowance, lease incentives, and the list goes on and on. yet they're not making enough money (for the board of directors and stockholders) so HR is being shipped out to a foreign country!! Go figure. I don't have a completed college degree and it's not taking me that long to figure out where the cutbacks need to be!!! GRRR!! this makes me so angry!!!
