I used to put in fake names and local business phone numbers as referrals so my boss would leave me the f--- alone. Most of my actual referrals would be pell chasers.

Every time I post a stupid word like Cumdump all I do is show what a retard I am and how much I really secretly want him to bone me in the rear. I can't ever debate on the real reasons why this place is going down the terlet so instead I use silly names like an elementary school kid to try to get him to notice me. I also wet the bed, I hope he likes the smell of rank urine.
Out of the 16 EA's on my team, we took two actual lead calls this entire week. Things are dead and we are calling people for no reason at all now. We are in desperate times. This place is going out of business for sure. No doubt in my mind seeing enrollments at zero. I am interviewing anywhere I can get one. Our team is at the point of picking up business cards at Filbertos and other places where people leave their business cards trying to win free s#lt. We call them and enter them in as leads as there is no way to get any otherwise. No one wants to seriously attend this joint. What is funny is the two calls that came through both asked when they were going to get paid out if they started. Pretty sad state of affairs down here in enrollment.

I will weigh in on this. First, I hate CumDump and I am sick of him. I wonder what he does for a living to have so much time for these boards? And no, he does not have a family who would want to be with such a douche bag?
Now that we have that out of the way I do have something to say about recomendations. I work in finance and we are pressured to ask for recomendations. We are expected to ask on just about every call which can be difficult to do when you are telling a Welfare Queen that her excess funds aren't releasing any time soon. In my experience it depends on your manager and your director as to how much you are pressured about it. I have seen discipline action for people that are not asking for them.

Cumdump is a failed part time community college teacher who has been trolling the layoff boards for over three years. Cumdump blames the for-profits for his failure and his only enjoyment in life is watching the lives of employees of the for-profits get destroyed. Cumdump lives at home with mommy and spends all day trolling these boards for information to pass on to the government.
@Not The Norm, it sounds like you have been very fortunate. Your rationalization that you have to feed your kids is interesting. It sounds like there are other hard-working people who are not getting their numbers and have economic pressure. I would categorize your argument into at least two categories: (1) appeal to higher authorities and (2) condemnation of the condemner. Are you saying that this is the best job you can have? Please explain how your team is different than others--I'll bet others would like to know how your team is making your quotas so easily. Clearly, there are EAs with experience that are feeling the stress. Is your sales pitch any different? Are you getting a different set of leads than failing teams? I'm in enrollment and I also have a family. I have an ailing father that I have to prepare for hospice. I work hard and help my entire family. I have college funds for kids I pay into every month. I am keeping it 100 we have to get recommendations if you say you are NOT pressured to get referrals by any means possible your lying to yourself!!! We have been told to share out business cards after hours to get recommendations (without extra pay by the way) so that we can get get more referrals. I love helping new students but shouldn't my referrals just come to me? Why do I need to beg every single call every single time? Why is it required of me!?

I have worked for UOP for 12 years, always as in enrollment, the only pressure I feel comes Tom me because I set my own bar and a standard of performance and customer service. Everyone on my team is at Senior level or higher, we do not get lectured or pressured, we have people who do not plan to to leave because we are happy with our work and team. We work at a ground campus and not in CA or AZ. We are not the norm but we do exist, stop digging and stirring up sh--! We tell people we may not be the best for them, take a clue we are NOT ALL bad. We are normal people working hard, feeding our families, paying our mortgages and planning for our and our kid's future. Camden...where's your family? Do you have a mortgage? Do you have a faith that you believe in? As much as you might think we are garbage there are more of us that think your motives are fake, that your are a has been pathetic community college part time instructor. THAT'S IT! You will never know how it feels to impact someone because you go out of you way to hurt. The Devil has a spot for you in hell, hopefully he makes you take UNIV/101 (a joke for my UOP folks) over and over again as your punishment. Namaste!

We have to get atleast 8 referrals amonth on my team. Any lead counts. What about other teams on here?
I was wondering how desperate EAs were getting in making their numbers. I hear there is a lot of pressure and that people are quitting faster than normal. Is that not true? Why would people be talking so badly about senior executives on this site if they weren't feeling desperate about their jobs?
Standard practice is to ask family and friends to get an edumacation at UoP.
