After working in Qualcomm for 10 years np one is ready to offer me a job !! They say qcom sucks, their employees are aleays online on layoff.com.

Yeah, putting the family behind career is a winning plan. You might achieve a higher title but in the end you'll lose half of everything to your spouse when they find someone who isn't limp dick 80 hour a week company slave. In the end you'll be broke, alone and a slave to your job.

But hey, who am I to tell you what's good for you. If that's what you want, go for it.

I'll be retiring early, sending the kids to good colleges, taking nice vacation every year and live in a great place.

If you invest well and know how to grow the money you make, you don't need to relocate your life every time the company you're a slave to crashes and burns.

If children are under 10, it might be very easier for people to relocate. Otherwise, it's hard especially if they are happy with their current environment and actually doing good in school and have friends. It is not a matter of being lazy or what.
