DP didn't have anything to do with those completion designs, those came from reservoir. But DP sure as hell took credit for it.
You would think that the professionals and executives would have outgrown the need to have their egos stroked. How infantile and lame. Most women don't need that crap and actually would get rid of people who tried to progress using flattery. Men, however, seem to fall for that crap regularly.
I agree. Susan's direct reports don't know crap about exploration. Just look at the long list of expensive failures. Some were technical, some were strategic, all were predictable. Doesn't matter though. They're smart enough and unscrupulous enough to recognize her vanity and play up to it. For playing the game they get rewarded with job security and bigger bonuses. They gain, Noble suffers. Just another example of "Break Through Thinking" in action.

It's almost criminal how stupid they are
The guy isn't the most technical, but back in the day he did manage/encourage some smart people to double production in the Eagle Ford with better completion techniques. (Improvements only happened in Eagle Ford D&C once Latti and Shady Brady got sent to the Permian team, back in the Rosetta days)
