Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Murthy's departure better or worse?

I want to get an opinion count here.

Can you guys indicate whether you think Murthy's departure to Intel is better for Intel or better for Qualcom?

I'm personally leaning towards "better for intel"

Seems that there is a consensus about Murthy's impact on QC.

Better for Qualcomm. Much worse for Intel, they got a booby prize.

I have to admit this fat asshas a brain, though dwarfed by size of his mouth. Unfortunately he puts his mouth first ahead of his brain, so he chews more than he thinks. I am not sure if you ask the right question though. Do you mean whether his damage is worse for Intel or worse for Qualcomm?

Better for INTC. Wireless modems are a commodity business now. INTC needs a slave-driver/task-master to chain the galley slaves to their PCs and testing platforms and instill fear into them. QCOM needs that too. It bears repeating: Wireless modems are a commodity business now.
