OK. Continuing with what has been said earlier. Not Ready for Prime Time Dave is a rube from Kansas who would not be an executive at any oil company but for the fact that he was Chuck's friend and assistant. Generally, you don't want an assistant as CEO. The Old Baldheaded Accountant washed out at GE and he was universally despised at Shell when the Noble board found him. He's a loser, and he has his nose up Stover's assso far that when -- ok I won't go there. As far as the Geographer, GAP GAP GAP no oil GAP GAP GAP no oil GAP GAP GAP we gonna say it really intense until it becomes true GAP GAP GAP. Do you ever wonder how the "people" goal will be accomplished in 2016? It will be met by Dave and the other two clowns declaring that the goal has been exceeded. The board meets in a few hours. Don't expect anything new.

Concur. As with most companies these days the board is hand picked by the company Execs (in particular the Chief Exec). Primary selection criteria for the board is a willingness to comply. Comply with the executives "recommendations" and comply with the execs salary and bonus plans. Individuals unwilling to play the game don't get an invite. It's the classic "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" game with the added feature that the CEO holds the leash. In virtually every scenario the Execs win, the board gets greased with cash/stock and everyone else looses. The only time the game plays out differently is when a hostile takeover happens, the Execs get caught blatantly stealing from the till (think Enron) or they are involved in some other serious and compromising situation. A hostile takeover won't happen, Noble has too little value and too many liabilities. There might be an argument for theft through incompetence, but then again the CEO and his cohorts are legally permitted to "steal" their salaries with the blessing of the board. That really leaves only one option. Does anyone have any compromising pictures?

This board isn't a legitimate board like you would find at most normal companies. Most companies would have also laid off at least a few managers. If any management team deserves to have some managers laid-off it's Noble. Given it's POOR financial performance of recent years. It's just more cronyism... standard fare for Noble.

Won't happen. This board represents management -- not shareholders, and certainly not employees. NRFPT Dave, the old bald headed accountant with his face in Dave's ass and the Chief Geographer are in it for themselves and have a rubber stamp board to back them.
