why is are all of the PSL's cutting back but this res bunch appears to be either growing or they are just bring them back to north belt to protect them!!!!!!!! What's up with this crap?????????

But that would save millions! And you are breaking Halliburtons #1 rule ( It makes sense).
i say get rid of them and let each facility manage their own property. If it is a lease then let the Hal Legal Department manage that, the Hal Tax Department can manage the taxes. Each site can pay the utility bills, have janitorial, landscaping and mechanical contractors for service and PM, this would be budgeted with Accounting. Hal Corporate Security can still handle the security. Done!!!!! This would get rid of all that fat in the Real Estate Services group at the NB facility. This would reduce space rates drastically.... Oh, but I forgot, then Dave Lesar, Jeff Miller, Lawerance Pope and Tommy Jamil, wouldn't have this slush fund of millions of dollars to play with, never mind, what the hell was I thinking!!!!!!
This explains why those Real Estate Services employees and managers are so damn arrogant! They are smart asses and don't care. They are here to provide a service and one would think that they would be a bit more caring and not so arrogant. We are paying their salaries and they are telling us what we can and can't do. And when we submit a request, we pay out the assor have to decline the service because the cost is outrageous. The RES department should definitely be re-aligned and put employees in those positions that know what the hell they are doing!
You are correct with what you are saying, but I would like to add that all of the utility cost, taxes, depreciation and maintenance is a bit more than 5 mill annually, I would say more around the 10 mil.. But everything else that you are saying is dead nuts accurate. I would like to add that the entire Real Estate Services salaries,are included in these space rates as well. All of which do nothing but take away from the bottom line. I would think that they should either go away, or at least make the space rates much lower. It seems that the company corporate greed is much larger and more important than actually providing oil and gas services all around the world. And our leadership doesn't appear to care about the value of their greatest assets, the workers, they are more concerned about what they can get from the company. This is not sustainable, Halliburton will not be able to succeed until something drastically happens and changes the executive management team.
not sure everyone understands exactly how these space rates work..... For example at the NB facility there is approximately 1,000,000 sq ft.. Of which about 600,000 are charged out at approximately 7.50per sq ft. Per month at 4.5 million x 12 months = 54,000,000 annually. This is just for the NB facility and does not include any other MPL's. These space rates were supposed to be used to pay for the electrical, gas, water, depreciation, taxes, advelorium taxes, expense projects, site operations and maintenance for electrical, mechanical, electrical, landscaping, janitorial and such. This cost is deducted from the bottom line profits and is not taxed because it is expense. But as you can see, it is a lot of $$$$. And this is just one site. I know for a fact, that these expense cost are only about 5 million total cost. Where are the other 50 million going? It is NOT going towards the new construction because this is coming from a capital funds not associated whatsoever with the space rates. These bastards are corrupt, paying off politicians and padding their pockets. Maggie Hatfield is too STUPID to be involved with this corruption. This goes way over her pay grade. And what makes this worse, is that every MPL facility charges space rates. All you need to do is figure out the space rates, multiply by the site sq footage and multiply be 12 months. This is a lot of $$$$$ and has been going on for years. This is what pays for the politicians, jets, deer leases, boats, executive homes and all the other goodies. Get rid of the space rates, get rid of these overpaid executive a--holes, get rid of the gymnasiums, daycare centers, lunchrooms and all the other burocuracy, and get back to the basics of providing oil field services globally, and we can survive. But, as long as we have all the greed and the shady accounting practices that Enron Dave keeps shoving up our asses, we are doomed to fail domestically and globally, Good luck!!!!!!

Every manager that we have had for the last 4 years has been corrupt, they have all been fired except for the last one, but we think that they are watching him and his friend.

RES is crap now because the people that cared about the employees and the company have all been released by those f_ckers! And the new management and PSL's will continue to pay those outrageous space rates. And the Real Estate Services PIMPs will continue to leach and grow, because that is what these space rates are for. Originally, several years ago, they were designed to be used only for the utilities, taxes, capital improvements, janitorial, landscaping, trash removal and maintenance to the facility. But over the years, GREED took the place of operations and efficiency, and now these executives are no different tot the greedy politicians in Washington using our tax dollars for stupid sh-- and lining their own pockets!!!!! And until Halliburton corporate accounting or the shareholders changes and corrects this corruption, Halliburton is going to fail miserably. Dave Lesar, Jeff miller, Lawrence pope, tommy Jamail and pimps need to be FIRED!!!!!!
They award these as a single source justification and get away with it! They have been getting kick backs for several years, but I think that it is about to bite them in the arse!!!!! Again, it is Dave Lessar, Jeff miller, Lawrence pope, tommy Jamail and co....... If the public knew what they were doing these bastards would be in jail!!!! But they will cut you overtime and layoff good employees only to keep the dumbasses. There is a reason for this, they don't want smart management around them because we can figure their sh-- out and know too much. So, it is good for them, to keep the dumbass mushroom management team that the are developing. They can keep them in the dark and feed them sh-- so none of those dumb managers would be able to expose their corruption. Most of the good managers that new what was going on were let go. The smart ones that are left will be laid off before December 31st.

Sounds like they should start an investigation. They use the same company for every location. And they have been building like crazy the last five to seven years. I bet someone has some fat pockets.
They dumped 30 million into that building two years ago and new beforehand that it was worth only 23 million beforehand. Now they are selling Landmark and the Oak Park building and are losing over 30 million on the deal........ EVERY project is like that!!!! that is our fearless David Lesar, Jeff Miller, Lawrence Pope< Tommy Jamil and Co........... stupid, stupid, stupid.............
