Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Don't cancel your Chevron Life Insurance. Sell your life insurance policy instead!

Did you know that you can sell all or part of a life insurance policy you no longer need or no longer can afford? It is called a life settlement. And it provides you with the opportunity to sell all or part of an unneeded life insurance policy for cash you can use any way you want. Contact Coventry Direct at www.CoventryDirect.com and get more information.

If you were recently laid off at Chevron, look into getting some money for your life insurance policy if you plan to cancel it. Remember that Chevron provides you for free, a basic life insurance policy worth 2-years of annualized pay. This policy is through MetLife. After leaving the company, MetLife gives you the opportunity to continue coverage at your expense or to cancel it. However, this is a reminder that you may be able to get cash for it by selling it to Coventry Direct. Please look into it.

@6hxy, everyone who is informed this outfit are a legitimate company. They are not out to take your money either. How is possible for them to take your money if your alternative was to cancel your life insurance policy? If you cancel your policy, you don't get anything. Although not every retiree will qualify if they are too young, but otherwise, you stand a good chance to be paid something to sell them your unwanted life insurance policy. BTW, you haven't convinced anyone that you called Coventy Direct. Keep spamming intelligent Chevron ex-employees with your lies, Troll.

If this was spam, I wouldn't be a complete list. This post is aimed at helping anyone who may be interested in getting cash for a Chevron Life Insurance policy they are planning to cancel. Not only the supplemental life insurance, but also the 2-year salary life insurance Chevron provides for free while you are an employee. This 2-year salary policy is yours and can also be sold for cash.

@4ndl, Real spam is useless crap that nobody wants. This however is something that has merit on the Layoff site. People being laid off can profit from knowing there is a resource out there that can benefit them. Would you agree with that, at least. The OP's post may sound like an advertisement but I think it has merit here.

I agree with the posters who say that these types of post are Spam. It makes no difference if you like the company, @H1H1pQ0-4joc. Spam is spam and a layoffs site is not the place for sneaky sales tactics. Buy your own ad time. That's why there are safeguards against spam on this site, but some crap happens to still get through.

@4qnc, your point doesn't pass the logic test for me. How can someone have buyers remorse? The business of Life Settlements is build around offering cash money to someone wanting to sell their life insurance policy, one they can't afford anymore or don't need. Where is the "rip-off" here? I don't see one. I'm going to have give up my policy because I'm left standing and cannot afford to continue the payments. I called Coventry Direct. They were professional and helpful with information. Only in my case, I'm too young (49 years old) and they are more interested in 55+ with higher insurance amounts. Rather than screaming "Spamner", you should do your homework first. I appreciate the OP's post. Although it didn't pan out for me, it might for some other colleagues.

I think that some loser fell for this and he has buyers remorse, so reading these posts from retirees who know that the outfit mentioned above is a fly-by-night operation taking advantage of the elderly, and he can't deal with it, so he keeps pushing, trying to validate his poor decision. How pathetic.

I really feel bad for the guy who fell victim to this SPAM.

WRONG... NOT SPAM. THERE'S SOMETHING HERE THAT SHOULD INTEREST EVERYONE AT CHEVRON WHO IS LOOKING TO CANCEL THEIR LIFE INSURANCE.

Don't you realize you ignorant pissant that every time you reply to my post with "This is SPAM", you only contribute to this Original Post to rise to the top of the Active List??? I don't think you realize that YOU are perpetuating the topic you consider Spam. Either way, I will continue to reiterate its NOT SPAM, JUST THAT THERE'S SOMETHING HERE THAT SHOULD INTEREST EVERYONE AT CHEVRON WHO IS LOOKING TO CANCEL THEIR LIFE INSURANCE.

Don't suggest that everyone else does the same and join you in your misery. The post is SPAM. If you like SPAM, take it elsewhere, there is plenty all over the internet to post and read.
