If Murthy can leave and layoff 12,000 at INTC, then surely SM and PJ aren't going to sit on their rear ends twiddling their thumbs and let Murthy show everyone how it is done. SM and PJ need to step up to the plate an announce a RIF of at 6,000 ASAP! Why wait?
Another big layoff to juice the EPS later this year.
1.55B earnings over 5.54B revenue is pretty darn good. What is everyone complaining about? Put your money on a bank and try to get a return like that. Yes the numbers were better a year ago but you can not always expect to walk on water.
Don't look at the EPS numbers they are artificially inflated due to buybacks. Dollar value of earnings is what matters. So yeah 35% drop is much bettet than 100% drop. Rejoice! Lol
Qualcomm is notorious for providing low guidance which is often not hard to beat.
20% year over year revenue decline. Not good.
Where does that growth come from? Next gen Samsung? Server?
Get used to the decline.
