Thread regarding Baker Hughes Inc. layoffs

If you have no work do the right thing!

Resign, dont wait till we are forced to let you go. It is a very stressful situation for us managers when we are forced into volunteering names.

A manager at Baker Blue complaining about picking names for lay offs? Oh please. When you accept a "management" position you automatically assume all responsibilities which is stress period. You are the upper managements scapegoat and middleman to do what needs to be done so they don't look bad. Working at a good ol boys club has been an eye opening experience. Coming from a diverse corporate background, I have to say Baker Hughes management was an absolute fail. Especially working at the San Antonio location. Geez. Who in the hell placed people at this location? The general workers were amazing with their experience and work attitude. However, the lack of knowledge and common sense in management level was absolutely horrid. So for all you management commenting, you can stick my foot where the sun definitely doesn't shine. Perhaps you all need to quit relying on the good ol boys mentality and do some real work. Food for thought.

You managers should volunteer to go. I'll save you all the stress of having to choose which hard working employee to let go. Also I'll save the company big bucks if they let you managers go

I want that sweet severance if it's going to happen. Go volunteer yourself jackass. We're so top heavy it would be more proportionate if us shop workers supervised our mgmt teams. Real talk livin on Tulsa time.

Thx jackass. Severance please. Then you can volunteer without a team and resign. Clearly brains are out of your genes but you think otherwise.
