It will feel really good seeing some of those long term operators finally get what they deserve and let go. I am talking about the ones who have 6 weeks off a year , barely train us poor contractors because they fear losing their own job but at the same time are lazy to the core and put all the work (and blame) on contractor staff.

I feel horrible for the folks that will be affected by this. Yes we hiring, Unfortunately contract positions only. We are also offering our Maintenance and Operators a chance to stay on minus benefits (generous allotment of PTO and Flex Time will be changed for all except for those of us on a normal M-F schedule) I have longtime friends working in Fab Operations that are so exhausted and frustrated with all the changes that simply dont add up. I hope the Rick can change the sentiment around here fast. PS its not going to change with a pulse survey-we need to take care of our Equipment Maintenace and Machine Operators. Stop replacing them with uneducated temps that quit after a week of work. Effex can not promise they will stay and commit to the job for 10 per hour. They will move to the next job for a dollar more with out looking back. Economics has everything to do with the actions and decisions being made on both side of this great divide.
