Layoffs! Been there and done that in 2002 with Mattel when it was in Murray, Kentucky they packed up and went to Mexico, go figure...

The only thing I've missed since leaving was the company closing Christmas week and my American Girl discount
I was still in EA with FP when they closed the Murray plant. Some very good people lost their jobs. I left some time after that as I was sure Mattel would be closing the rest of FP. I'm somewhat amazed that the EA campus still exists. Although the comments on this site make it seem like it won't be for much longer. All I can say is that there is life after Mattel and there are other companies to work at that have a vision that goes beyond the next quarter's results.
