Most of desi IT services firms compete just on price except 2-3 big ones , no indian IT firms really invest in training people in newer technologies (except initial basic routine induction for trainees). Most of collateral are fake and copied from big Tier -1 firms and consulting firms .
they strong have rotation policy to prevent people from gaining deeper skill in any domain or technology so that their business is not at risk from competition.
People doing testing/support roles are not given any real training and not even allowed access to automation tools so that they remain low value workers for ever and can be dumped safely anytime cost saving is needed.
If u work product company and get laid u get job again easily because u get good technical skill and exp.
U don't get any real management skills working inIt service firm here as only cheap tricks are mgmt and HR working as syndicate create illusion of non existent professionalism.
Most of project management work in this company is just about how to bully people to make them work 12 hours and manipulate data to show quality standards are met.
PM keeps changing leads to keep himself safe, DM keep changing Pm to keep himself safe and DD keeps changing DM to keep himself safe.
