When I worked there (quit about a year and half ago), I was staff eng, base was $137k, average bonus was probably $6-$8k I'd say (with few hundred RSU's tossed in, or when was options maybe 100's to thousands of options depending). Was during the better times tho as seems like from what I've heard that more recently there were little or no bonuses.

What jzk said. When the bonuses stop or become too small to make a difference, it's time to look elsewhere. Remember, this is a company that hired an "albatross" --who had in adequate job skills--as a corporate favor, paid him more than you were making, and fronted him $70,000 as down payment for a house.

I remember when 130k used to be an impressive salary, now it's just a little better than average (for educated)

Bonus is a function of your relationship with your lead. Nothing else matters. Actual performance is not recognized, perceived performance from the perspective of your lead is the only factor.
