1.9% - as expected and in line with previous years.
2% even, I was fuming. Probably averaged over 60 hours per week all last year. Was able to take only 4 days off.
Shockingly low raise, 2.2% for working so hard throughout the year. Time to look elsewhere, for better opportunity. The management doesn't seem to appreciate my hard work, dedication, or talent here.
2.50%, IT
Worst raise I've ever received. I've been with the company for over a decade, and all raises have been between 4-5%. This year was just over 3%. I work my ass off and save the company hundreds of thousands of dollars annually, and this is the thanks I get...
My raise/bonus went to remodeling ClicheClowns office.
2.5%? Either your boss is holding back to pad their own bonus or you've never heard the phrase "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." Stop being taken advantage of and open your damn mouth. I've been a stead 4-6% for the past 10 years. No BS. Even in down years I've never dipped below 4% because I've always been in the mix and I'm NOT management.
In 10 years I never received anything over 2.5% and I work my ass off with no complaints. I thought that was normal until I started asking around.
Wow all of this is so disturbing :(
but I have to say i haven't gotten a merit increase over 4% in the past 5 years
so the low merit increase is not new.
At the 4Q results conf call there was a big pat on the back for HR coming in way under plan for the Severance Package budget. They did a stellar job saving the company money by f---ing hard working people who needed that cash to help pay bills while unemployed. That is the kind of result Upper Management rewards. Those HR folks earned their 25 - 28K bonuses. Maybe they can buy something nice with their blood money.

i will literally be getting an extra $20 a month. A MONTH!! And I worked my ass off this past year!! And STILL no promotion! Want to know what's worse? My manager just got a 10k raise! What the f--- is wrong with this place!?
Not enough to even cover the increase in health care insurance.
