I've recently left the company and I will tell you, the layoffs seen in the 2015 will be laughable compared to the ones ahead. Between the end of March and mid April the job market will be saturated with Coke employees attempting to find jobs. Of course you probably won't hear about this in the media because they want to keep the massive numbers hush hush, but pretty much Coca Cola Refreshments is going away.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that Coke cannot sustain their current operations when people are drinking less and less sugary drinks. Layoffs are coming in 2017 and they will be big, it won't surprise me if Coke lays off 25% of their work force in the next 5 years. The stock is stuck on neutral and the only way it gets moving again is becoming smaller and eliminating redundancy which still occurs. Getting smaller means getting rid of people and infrastructure. The Company is also top heavy on the management side; to many layers of supervision which is unnecessary. An example is their Security Department, they all do the same job and on most days they sit in their desks doing nothing.
Hope they take out that old dude in fixed assets - lies thru his yellow teeth. first name is del, but forgot his last name
Planning is going away, CCR is going to CCNA and Tulsa isn't telling the "regular" employee anything. Ppl are leaving CCR at an alarming rate. We try to apply elsewhere and nothing is happening. Ppl are getting jobs outside of Coke. Everyone I know got a job within Coke is a drop dead gorgeous female, with male hiring managers. Go figure. They sold everything to the bottlers and we are screwed. It's all about the mighty dollar
Tulsa ccc will be cl I sedan by the end of 2017.
I haven't heard from my supervisor in over a week. Fails to respond to my messages and part time merchandisers are sitting around with our thumbs up our a55es. The full time guys have they're schedules for the next year while I'm wondering if I even have a job. F--- you Coca Cola and your sh--ty campaigns to get better. Now that gooks are taking over we are all screwed. I busted my ass for them and not even a courtesy call. If you are part time, especially out of Clayton or Charlotte NC kiss your job goodbye or prepare to work a 9 day straight shift. That was real smart Coke. Now go f--- yourself
Yes how do you know this??? I am a Coca Cola employee and I see things that point to what you say being true, but how do you know this...
I worked there
How do you know this?
The media hides any bad news about Coca Cola as they do not want this to hurt their advertising sales.
