It's a sure bet that more layoffs will happen everywhere before bonuses come out next month, which will be the final straw that breaks Mattel's back. "Management" and HR, ask yourself how many more VPs can you hire and how many workers can you lay off? Mattel just isn't sustainable any longer, hasn't been for over a year. You kept the posers and fired the golden geese who made that place great. There is no passion, experience or common sense left to generate the next-gen, take-it-to-the-next-level, phygital (UGH), disruptive, game changing, blockbuster, "juggernaut" toys you prattle endlessly about. Your arrogant, insecure, and uninformed heads are so far up your collective asses that you can't see beyond next quarter's results. And if you CAN see that far honestly, you better be packing your golden parachute, because very soon you'll have no one left to create. No one left to lay off but yourself. There is no honor among thieves, there is only a reckoning. Your time under the bus is at hand, soon you will be among the Stockdowns, Kilpins, Kiyomis, Evilyns, Wadleighs, and Vosses of the world. It is absolutely insulting and annoying to have to listen to that talking parrot ClicheClownDown. The very first time I heard him speak I really just wanted to raise my hand & tell him to just speak what's really on his mind in plain english. He's so canned & fake but needs that shield because he knows he has no real talent or creative bone in his body.

Ummmm, Finance department in ES is less than 80 people while EA campus is over 800. Talk about getting the facts wrong. TOTAL finance is probably around 800 is my guess but that includes every single person who helps with your paycheck to anyone working at the physical plant.

For those of us here who still do care about creating great toys, it's painfully clear that Richard and company clearly don't practice what they preach...explain to me why we need a finance department the size of the E.A. campus in E.S.?
It's no longer a culture based on creating great product, but rather one succumbed to cost cutting and blood sucking layoffs for the sake of a dividend payout.
