I've been actively following all O&G companies on this site. I do not work for Chevron but I can tell you that the quality of posts on your page is the best of all companies. You should see some of poison and filth that's frequently posted on some other pages. Kudos, Chevron and I mean it...

I have a feeling there are only a couple of trolls on this board. For the most part it is people worrying about their livelihoods. I'm not involved in this ESP but I feel for the people who are. There is nothing like being in limbo for several months, for which I was in Alpha. Maybe I will survive Beta, who knows. Best of luck to those in the process.

He has no idea that people like you are the reason that he has a paycheck that he gets for doing nothing all day. The "members only" club that he dreams about is the club of rotten dead wood, which he wishes actually existed. In fact, it is just a fireplace to be burned in.
@1kbq - I'm retired Unocal/Chevron & a stockholder....I like to know how my money is foolishly spent on people like you. You aren't nearly as entitled as you believe you are.

I don't work for Chevron either & I'll say this....if all of you actually work for Chevron and spend your days on this board, I can see why Chevron's in trouble. In my day, when you went to work, your work day wasn't spent surfing the internet or writing on message boards, it was actually spent working!! For the most part, today's generation can't imagine what's wrong with society....take a good hard look in the mirror and you'll see the problem staring back at you. We sucked it up & did what had to be done instead of bellyaching & keeping score like little girls We knew what a hard days work was &it wasn't sitting behind a screen playing games or filling up these boards. Learn to appreciate what you have instead of bitching about what you don't....Life isn't fair & if you didn't learn that growing up, you missed an important lesson.

Word going around that there will no longer offers Lump sum on pensions, they would rather hold onto your millions and make money off of it. They are going strictly Annuity. We all have seen this coming.....
