Looks like those "no layoffs, comfortable with current staffing levels" lies told at the meet and greet with c-suite suits didn't last too long. Bakken yesterday. Heard six, field and tower. Just the tip of the iceburg?

Some of the staffing decisions associated with the layoffs in the previously identified departments involved unethical business practices on the part of MRO's HR and management teams!
they have to get rid of the good productive people so those incompetent ones running the organization will not be outed.
No need to call names out under the guise of anonymity..
We all know there are favorites.. when you plot out the technical impacts/improvement the favorites have made versus "selling" themselves or communication.. The favorites clearly fall short on the technical impact spectrum.. Its too bad marathon has lost a lot of technical expertise.. Marathon's loss is someone elses gain in the industry..
To the petrotechs at Marathon -- Don't be too worried. If they haven't laid off such "stars" as Erik Hiemstra, Robyn Marchand, or Lance Robertson by this point, then everyone else should be safe. If these employees are still on station, then Marathon is still willing to tolerate some degree of worthlessness.
Deanna, what do you mean by the 0.9 of target? Or any other #.# of target? How many to be laid off?
Thanks for the clarification, Deanna. I knew you had to be good for something.
Tier 10 = 0.8 of target. 30 = 0.9 of target. 40 = 1.0 of target. And tier 20 = 1.2 of target.
Bakken layoffs were layoffs. So TAP eligible. Yeah. They got severance.
PIP? You get nothing. Except for some sweet jeans.
Read the Termination Allowance Plan on MROBenefits. It was changed so there is no severance for performance.
They said bonus percentages were closer together this year. Does anyone know? I was Tier 40 and got 100% of target, which was less than last year.
No need for layoffs when every year they can just cut the bottom 10%.. Probably save you $$ .. i don't believe getting fired gets you severance..
Layoffs or "firing" for performance issues after forced ranking reviews? Severance or no?
Perhaps the beginning of the yearly T10 purge? We all know it is coming.
