There are a bunch of middle managers who have no idea how the sausage gets made.

Therefore nobody has a bloody clue how many hours or people a job requires to get completed.

Almost every single technology project at Chevron is overstaffed.

Why the f**k do we need all these change managers, schedulers, and advisors.

If these idiots were running a McDonald's, it would take 35 people and 3 years to assemble a mother f***ng big mac.

Talk about ITC Leadership, look at CBRES. They will charge a business unit $200 for one poster mounted on a foam board, $400 for a simple PowerPoint. They have "Project Managers" who email the PowerPoint and posters to freelancers who tweak it from home and send it back to CBRES, who then doubles the price and passes it on to the BU.

PowerPoints are user friendly applications. It is amazing that Chevron doesn't see this form of skimming within the company.

I agreed totally with @3rwm. That's exactly what's going on. These spineless SOB's can't deal honestly with their direct reports. For those who remain after the slaughter, remember your supervisor's smiling face every day of your career. It's the same face that with cut you down later, only by proxy.

@GkAWIlk-1zig I disagree with you when you say, "Maybe non-confrontational managers didn't want to clean house?" That is the only way the non-confrontational managers can eliminate their employees that are challenging them. The use the ROM's, ESP's, etc. are used to avoid the conflict of confronting their staff. Too many of the CVX managers use passive aggressive avoidance as their standard method of operation....

When you have a person in ITC managing the PMO who has never managed a project successfully in his life, what do you expect. All he has done has add more overhead due to his being clueless on how to manage a project. His dumb idea of having PM's managing other experienced PM, just pisses off the PM's and adds more overhead. Doesn't hurt when your wife has a high position in HR. I am hoping I get the tap in the next ROM. I can't stand dealing with this incompetent.
