Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

I am not the original poster. This is not fake. Guess what no acquisition of depot mean.....

Corporate managers and analysts will get laid off at HQ, Well, they would have anyway. Oh and it is not just HQ.

Some integration was going to occur. Many jobs/positions were/are in limbo whether you realize it or not. Either way people are gone...all based on timing. Curious that someone is pushing back on this post. Whether this poster really knows or not it doesn't matter. And NO you can't just say it is such and such. It WILL be most area's and based on a quota. It will go something like this...We need to lower GNA, Where, what areas, ok we can cut 3 people, some else is pressured to cut 4..... No synergies = More cuts. Believe me don't believe me.

Would love to see Staples Advantage managers, analysts, and other dead weight go.

My sources confirm many more layoffs. Many at corporate. Severances being given I hear but don't know for sure. It's part of what has been expected. Not really news, just a confirmation of the long term trend.
