Plano office closure was a different situation and severance could have been higher then. I've heard it's only 3 weeks pay + 3 weeks for each year of service. Can anyone confirm that?

In 2013 the severance package was 12 weeks salary plus 3 weeks for every year you had worked at Encana. They also accelerated your LTI's, and obviously paid for your unused vacation.

I couldn't tell you if you can negotiate anything. I would guess no.
