Generally, they have to allow 30 days to notify the Department of Labor. so I doubt there will be any layoff in April. However thy may announce more layoff in April... Which may start in May - Jun

Increase in oil prices or not ConocoPhillips continues to loose billion per quarter even with creative accounting. The layoffs will continue with a vengeance.
