Yes, my deepest thoughts with you, funny how the train and track monkeys can stay but little do they know we stick together one for all all for one. These monkeys and managers days are coming. I can't wait to see these monkeys laid off getting unemployment. We'll see whose laughing.

I was an electrician in north platte who was laid off. UP is the most wasteful place I have EVER worked. I'm not happy about getting cut, who is? Management around that place needs to open their eyes, if they weren't tossing money away on trying different gloves, and hiring train service guys just to lay them off, they would be money ahead. Holy balls, dumb dumb dumb. Good luck to everyone who got cut. I hope you all find something better where they treat you like a human instead of trying to fire you each shift. I personally will not be going back. The yellow beast can eat a railcar of a--holes.

They are practicing lean six sigma, after it's all said and done the company will be chopped up running like a corporation stripping everything from you. Your wages will be cut by 40% when they streamline it. Start looking for something else.

So UP just laid off a whole bunch of people in North Platte after they moved a bunch of people here from Denver less than 2 months ago. I don't understand the business plan here.

Big empty promises for there employees as usual. Glad they recieve all these awards for hiring vets and most of them never get to earn a check because they are sitting at home.
