You clearly don't understand how pension funding works.
One big thing to think about is Chevron will no longer offer Lump Sum Pensions. you will get an Annuity every month. and Chevron will keep your millions and be making more money off of it. Then when you die the checks stop and Chevron keeps it all. it is coming next year!

OP, the likely order of head lopping will be...
1) Older employees
2) Less productive employee with -2 rank
3) Average employee and highly paid
4) Remaining surplus at mgmt discretion.
