Good Luck everyone. Congrats to those who get the deal.
part of EMEA still unknown, have to wait day's, week's for the consultation board.
@Scrappy, is your team 25 people or are 25 people being laid off?
Our VP called for entire team meeting this morning in RTP, March 1. 25 people. He asked for everyone to be there in person. Plus, he was on linkedin updating his information yesterday.
It's not looking good.
Good luck everyone!!!
@GclKYfg-mzf, you are right. Those numbers have to include sales and product specialists. These guys have a quota but are dual compensated on deals, which I can't imagine still existing after this purge.
No way are those numbers right. Those are mostly engineering sites. With those numbers, engineering would be reduced to well under 1000 engineers. Look for a bigger impact on sales and other non-engineering roles.
it will be completed on march 2
PTC=Pittsburgh
will the layoff exercise be completed on March 1 or is it going to be done in parcels over the course of march? any ideas. This has been a huge drag on productivity
What is the expected severance package? Is it one week for one year of service with a cap
india
Where is NB? Is that a typo?
The number is more likely closer to 1200 excluding those who have left on their own. Estimate 300+ have moved on since December.
450 (1200-750) will come from a smaller sites like Vancouver, Wichita, sales in EU, Singapore etc.
It usually starts with a mail from the top. GK in this case.
What time on Tuesday? No rooms have been booked at Sunnyvale as of 5:30 p.m. PST.
The total adds up only to 750 (250-300; NB - 150-200; RTP-150+; New England - 50-100).
The projection is about 1600 to 1800 layoffs (12 to 14% of 12800).
so should be more like 700 CA 400 NB 400 RTP New England 100 and all other GEOs about 200.
Any numbers for Boulder or Wichita?
Thought it was EST
PTC? You mean PST (Pacific Standard Time)?
Speaking of which... any rumor on PTC estimates?
