Here's a laugh for you. Our plant in the UK like many other has been shut down. Everything was packed away. All of a sudden everyone is called back from garden leave to complete a mass influx of orders. As we have our own product line and no one else can do it wouldn't you say this is a massive dick move. Weatherford wasting thousands again!!!

This sounds like something the pearland tx MPD office would do.
So sad. Somebody is running this company to the ground. And that somebody will probably walk away with millions andNot a care in the world for the families he has ruined. I bet if that person took a paycut and only receive $1.00 for the rest of the year, all these layoffs and 401k cuts would not have to happen. There would probably be extra money leftover he would step up and agree to $1.00 salary, instead 10percent cut.
Apparently the plant wasnt making money. Yet Hundreds of Thousands of pounds worth of work that this plant specialises in is being subbed out to independent manufacturers. Their quality is poor to say the least. A one million pound order was lost due the closure of this plant. More than enough to keep all the employees in work for a while. Weatherford has been poorly managed for years. The guys here are expected to carry on bailing Aberdeen (the proposed new manufacturers) out whilst looking at imminent unemployment. Some serious skills is going to be lost along with a product line. Well done weatherford

Actually everything packed away should have been tossed to a rubbish bin and then have to be repurchased.
