I personally know of a few folks from the great oaks site who were let go on 4/14/2016.

Time to refresh ur resume, dont wait for the axe falling on ur head.
Couple groups got cuts in Irvine, engineers on OEM group I know got axed.
FIT technician group is currently boxing up much of their test equipment to be shipped to Maylasia. Deep cuts probably on May 4th, everything will be done before all hands meeting on the 10th
This is only the beginning from now till September ...there will be blood, count on it

The outcome made me a little bit nervous. The management team planned to save xxx million dollars based on the cut. Now how do they complete the goal?
The rumor is both correct & incorrect. The date is right but the >30% scale is wrong.
I can confirm this post - nothing happened in San Jose today. There is a ton of anxiety, the morale is super low, people are updating LinkedIn profiles constantly (I am getting notifications) - overall, turned out good today but still...
They made it sound it was bigger, 10% is still huge
Very few in Irvine. I don't even think it's greater than 10%.
