Oh how I miss 515 post oak. Right off 610 and didnt have to deal with san felipe traffic.
SJP is a miserable feeling building. Like a tomb. For those still around that knew life at the Post Oak office, you know what I mean.
I do hope you like working. With the 1 to 1 manager to worker ratio, you are going to be doing a whole lot more work when your 1 employee you are managing up and quits.
Don't worry about what us managers are doing, you just do what your told.

I agree, salaried employees need to work from the office. It shows the hourly employees that we are equal and have the same work ethics. It boost our moral as well. If salaried employees have to stay home for a sick kid they should have to use their personal or vacation time just like me. And management needs to quit acting as though hourly employees are trying to take something for nothing. We are just as loya as a salaried employee.
Keep telling your self that bud! It should be mandatory that you guys show up. This shows mangers and VP's don't give a sh-- or know how to run a company...
We do have work from home technology, just because they are not in the office doesnt mean they are not working.
This was a Thursday... No excuses! These guys need to be held accountable! I would do the same thing if my manager never showed up.
So leaving 3 hours early and getting paid is actually a raise for salaried employees
Some groups allow their employees to leave at 2pm on Fridays. This started in mid 2015 when it was announced there would be no 2015 pay raise. Just a little something to help morale I guess.

They went out to enjoy the country club, company paid the fees mite as well enjoy it rite?
Not sure about Thursdays, but alot of people leave at 2pm om Fridays. It's been that way for a while now
