Thread regarding Syntel Inc. layoffs

Switch companies before it is too late dont wait till they kick u out

folks there is no rational method for picking bad performers (LE5 etc). DMs are putting those whom they dont like and non local employees into can be fired list.

Once you are laid off it is very difficult to get jobs as HR networks are sharing list of fired employees (informally).

So get out of this place immediately.

Dude, it can happen to anyone - anywhere ... it is all abt meeting margin targets and not abt delivering projects .. Revenue is always limited - Margins will come only from reducing expenses .. Greedy top management will do anything for their personal gains through stock and corporate growth. Muralidhar Reddy sold @1700 stocks recently - y ?

They are only laying off in India? I am a fresher and have worked for 6 months in American express for Syntel. I haven't worked a year yet. So I am safe because I work in America?

its true LE5 is assigned to 20% of the employees. what logic is this? logically only 5% employees should get LE5 rating.
