There's zero risk of anyone ever again accusing Mattel of being a great place. Or swell, or innovative, or fun for that matter. We've gone from hero to zero. Magic to tragic. Disruptive to dysfunctional.
Someone in HR years ago told me that the 100 best places to work list is not quite what it seems. It's not something that's awarded based on actual employee satisfaction. It's more of a fee-based award, where the company vying for the distinction does a lot of campaigning to get the "honor." Compare it to a fake Amazon review. It is total b.s as you would have guessed.
