I see our friends at Hallibortion have finally released their Executive Compensation numbers for 2015. In one of the most devastating years in recently history for our business, the Execs received the following compensation. You tell me if they earned it?? Dave Lesar - 16MM, Jeff Miller - 7.6MM, Joe Rainey - 7.2MM and Jim Brown - 6MM. My guess is that their lifestyle did not change too much in 2015. Still waiting on Baker Hughes to release their 2015 figures. Should be out shortly.

Good for them. I don't think there is one person who honestly looks at themselves and their lifestyle and says....hmmmmm I wouldn't never want to make the kinda money these guys make.... Every company has had to make drastic business decision's and whoever thinks that any company that's operating at a loss can operate forever on a loss obviously must be the chief burger flipper at McDonalds.... it amazes me that some people on here have enough competence to turn a laptop on and comprehend some of the comments on here.
With that said, getting back to the execs..... If any of us think that it's that easy let's jump out there and do it and show them how it's done.... Yeah right. Those guys make a lot of money because the company earns and not many folks can do what some of them do. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I know a good bit about what they do and I know I couldn't do it so be honest with yourself and quit bashing the company and the people running it. The BHI deal isn't over until it's decided in court. Instead of posting negative comments get out from behind your computers and go try to make a difference. Halliburton isn't a prison. You are free to leave on your own free will at anytime. Just a friendly reminder.
Look at page 46 of the 2016 proxy. All the execs had the salary increased in 2015 compared to 2014. I am talking strictly salary. I know other oil and gas companies did not give out 2015 merit raises, did Halliburton give out any 2015 merit increases to their employees?
BOOOOOO. Does he wake up a walk through flames (literally)? Can he see the future & make wise decisions? No to both. Does he go to meetings, answer phone calls & emails? Has he been stressed out (like the other 50,000 employees? Yes to both. 300,00 is more then the 99% make annually. He is an overpaid douche. Who BTW spearheaded the biggest fail since the gulf (looking forward to the movie).
While I agree these numbers are ridiculous this is their total compensation package. Their salaries are substantially less. I believe the last number I saw Dave Lasars salary was only 1.4 million. So taking a 20% pay cut while their Salaries are still large is a huge pay cut. Somewhere in the neighborhood of losing 300,000 to your salary. Again not defending their income I'm just saying.
Capitalism sucks. Where's Robin Hood when you need him!
just like the 2008 housing market fallout...execs always come out smelling like a rose, not in jail, and with enough money to burn thanks to John Q. Taxpayer
You're welcome guys...congrats on still being rich no matter what!
Why are you mad? This is normal in corporate America.
I was hoping that someone would post this. The execs live in a whole different world than we do. That's why I laugh when they say that they were getting pay cuts.....if you take away 10-20% from a huge number, it's still a huge f---ing number!
I'd be willing to bet the Halliburton top brass get stock awards equal to, or greater than their pay, as well.
