The article says Adler's product line will be available in Sept. But he was just hired. Nothing that starts development today is going to ship in time to be on-shelf in Sept. Sounds like he will add color call outs or package graphics, and take credit for something that is already in process.
Sorry EA Designer who came up with the concept and has worked with Marketing, China, Costing, Engineering, QA and the rest to get the product to this point. You won't be getting credit for your work.

for stuff to be showing up now it... would have have been in the works for about a year. Just putting the thumbprint and color selection. Never hear of this guy..

Anyone who thinks Adler's contributions will result in sales that generate profits exceeding what he is being paid are idiots. This is another vanity move by Richard.
He's keeping his other businesses. How many hours a day will he be in the office? Will we all get to run outside businesses now?
I'm guessing he will be blurting out global design concepts ("Let's add hints of orange to everything!") in meetings with the top brass. They will be eating it up, even if it makes no sense.
You guys just don't get it........... Real Design doesn't matter to our upper mismanagement because they wouldn't know appropriate design/play pattern/& function if it crawled up their asses & thew a parade.
They don't know or care, that's where their arrogance & stupidity shines through.

What would this guy even begin to know about babies & preschoolers? Zero. But Sinclair & Dickson can't figure that basic flaw out? Holy Ineptitude Batman.
And people are still in denial that this place is in the toilet? Unbelievable, but true.
I'm guessing he's going to send over designs which bitter EA (actual) toy designers will shoot down, cost reduce, find problems with from an engineering perspective and guarantee that it becomes another failure that way too much money was invested in. Considering all the quotes this asshat has posted regarding design it's a given that he's going to look down his nose at the good people in EA in the same manner that the silver fox and the rest of the transplanted management team does with utter distain and disregard for anyone.
