@GN6uasP-1ooe, We don't have those rules where I work, but If someone constantly flailed a hot cup of coffee with no lid around me it wouldn't end well. He would not get written up, but he would end up with a scorching hot cup of coffee in his face then the cup shoved up his sorry, pitiful, inconsiderate A$$ after I beat the ever living $hit out of him. But that's just how we do things. No write-up necessary. I hope that you prefer that. I know those stupid useless write-ups are a waste of time - agree totally!
To the early-career woman sobbing in her cubicle: I am so very sorry, it must have been a very unpleasant experience. Dont beat up on youself many talented people got caught up in the numbers today. Better days lie ahead:)
I hope that SOB that keeps writing up everyone without a lid on their coffee got laid off. You know who you are you sorry assbastard!!
If you didn't get a calendar invite with your ROM rep and HR business partner for 15 minutes today, then it's safe to assume you got a job. The job owner will call you if you're in a different location or will just come grab you and talk to you if you're already in that BU. This is all for GOM-Covington. Lafayette is doing it differently. In my opinion, they should've done like SJV and sent out the calendar invites YESTERDAY so that we didn't come in at our normal time 6-7am and then have to wait until all the way up to 3pm to be notified. It's ridiculous. But I wouldn't expect anything less from this company.
Does anyone know how many will ce let go in Covington and Houma?
@qvg, I think this entire process is in a state of flux. What was the planned process yesterday or this morning, could likely change in a moments notice. I've heard that people have been getting both good news and bad news throughout the day today. Try to stay positive. The longer you wait for the news, the longer you still have a job. Good luck.
Does anyone know how long it will take them to notify the left standing employees? I'm still waiting on news, and it seems like everyone else got notified already.
I know a few people who found out that they still have a job (got offers) this morning.
What about them? At least you could have posted the ubiquitous infantile "what do we know?"
