All signs point to an acquisition in the making. Exit of long time executives, sale of buildings, new CFO who has history with selling off big companies, reduction in workforce.

NetApp had its run. It will become a division of another big company and continue on.

They were doing this 10 yrs ago.

If an American tech company starts hiring substandard Indian imported labor, it's a sign that the company is done.

Ask yourself - how many of the QA engineers in RTP or SVL are Indians with a Master's degree and an H1B visa?

Aren't H1B visas for positions that can't be filled by US workers? Why do we need H1B visas for QA engineers who have Master's degrees? If I had a Master's degree in Computer Science (from a US university), I would be a developer at the least, not a QA engineer.

This BS explains why Trump is so popular (unfortunately).

there are managers and directors in RTP who are importing all low skilled engineers from bangalore and promoting them as lead engineers, basically their own men who would say yes for everything. these guys are replacing skilled engineers in SVL. this is bound to fail. you cannot run a technological company that way.
