When I first moved to AZ two years ago, I made the move because UOP hired me over the phone. That's the only good thing I can say about my exprience other than the fact that my team was nice and all were good people who deserved better. I left after 6 months when I heard rumblings of layoffs and now I don't even include UOP on my resume. UOP employment is embarassing in other academic circles.

I got paid more than $100K. I had a real university education and ran circles around the idiots who got their fake educations there. UOP is finished.
What do you consider paid well? I guess if you are a manager or director yes. There is no upward movement at that company. Your fate is doomed the second you take a job there. As if going to school there is not bad enough. Having to put those boobs down more than once is just twice as embarrassing.
UOP used to pay well. It is a cancer on a resume you are correct.
