So after a pay cut and no more 401K contributions my manager turns in his expense report with some really expensive meals on there with companies and people that no longer exist. No wonder we are in trouble..... Thoughts?????

Why report them and risk being axed (seen it happen) Document the fraud well, include names, dates, times, scans, and pictures if possible and then post on a VERY PUBLIC web site or forum and post links all over the internet like here, RigZone, etc.
Now that ought to create some sizzle and let's see if those worthless managers still have their jobs!
Nope not a manager at all, just one of the low level people here who is waiting for a layoff. I just remember overhearing different people ask how to claim things on an expense report without a receipt.
I don't know about you but that Code of Ethics training just happened last month. Glad you (the OP) is more ethical than your manager. But then again I expect the actual workers at WFT to be more ethical than management.
Hey let's get the fellas who are stealing from WFT. I know the P-Card person. Just post the product line and time period / month and we and run an audit on the entire product line.
I used to work for a different company. At my old job there was a guy whose expenses (expenses only, not including salary, bonus and commissions) was about 50k (fifty thousand dollars) a month - month not year! Dude made a killing for years before he quit (or forced to do so).
There are some greedy a-holes in oil and gas industry who know how to milk their positions.
Ha ha funny a 100 bucks my morals and values are worth more than a 100 bucks. That seems to be something that the managers are missing in this company. And FYI it is thousands of dollars over the years. If any other employee discount these things they would be fired and charged with embezzlement
This happened in tyler texas for years the manager was A thief and the two mechanic's they would charge things to different vehicles ! They had deals with the different vendors that would buy them whatever they wanted but it would get charged as truck parts! If you said anything you were the Bad guy!!!!!!!!!!but i guess that is why the Shop in Tyler Texas is Closed!
Make copies, extort said manager for 100 bucks.

I have called the 800 number along with misuse of P card selling good parts and scraps and keeping the money. Misue of gas card puts gas for wife and kids. The list goes on and on. So to the one who always uses the word troll with a mindset like your no wonder weatherford is on trouble
I think the proper name for this is fraud but have seen these many times with my manager and his salesman. One audit is all it would take
And just how does the OP know this? Does he/she approve the expense reports? Enter them in the system? Either how, or troll.
You should anonymously report the dirty thief. He deserves to lose his job.

Were the people taken out for meals employed by the the prospective client company and did it the company exist on the days the lunch took place? And were receipts included?
If your manager had a meal with dead people, that will be reaching a new low.
Report them using the confidential 800 number.
