Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Any news on Raleigh?

Any info on that site shutting down? Local management seems to be the problem

Don't knock Kevork. RTP almost drove us under with IBM bulls??t, he was the one exec who saw through it and had the guts to set up alternatives. 810 failures were all Murthy...nice that we don't have to worry about Intel any more😀

Actually if you look at history, RTP has been quite successful. The 810 disaster was caused by Kevork pushing a non In house CPU and failing. The 820 in house CPU showed how to do it right.

I call BS on that. The site founders are all still there. Q needs that site to make the next flagship Android chip. We are a mobile company and RTP powers it.

RTP was a major part of the success the last 7 years. Would be a shame.

Heard from a guy in finance that it is in fact on the table. Whatever part they are working on isn't competitive.

Didn't they run IBM I to the ground? Why would this be any different?
