You spend time trying to support your out of work friends? Sounds like it's time to get new friends. Cant save everyone so use some tough love and force these losers to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Tell them to go start a small business that creates new jobs. Then cut them off completely. We don't need any more bleeding heart socialist types here in the great state of Texas.
But life is so great! Anadarko is still the employer of choice for so many of the best qualified people. Everyone who survived has it so great here, not just upper management.
