When do they update owbpa? March was posted before the month was over.
Finally!!! Now please stop relying on this assbackwards list
For all who don't know that list is for legal purposes only. If a person is laid off the company must legally provide a list of others who have been laid off. This protects the company from discrimination claims unless there is direct proof of discrimination, quid pro quo, or a hostile work environment.
The interesting part is that the list does not need to be accurate, truthful, or public.
Another interesting legal fact is that Weatherford, or any corporation, does not legally have to follow their own policies they've set forth regarding any aspect of employment or termination. So if your manager or HR lies to you, they are legally protected from any legal ramifications unless they violate an individual's civil rights, or one of the situations listed above.
Do yourself a favor. Never assume anyone at WTF is telling the truth, has your back, or that HR is on your side. HR exists solely to protect WFT from legal action when they screw you over.
If you don't take my word for it, ask HR about their issue documentation policy. If you raise an issue with HR, they have no legal responsibility to maintain any records associated with the complaint. But I'll bet you that's the last thing they'll admit to. If that's not good enough, ask a lawyer that specializes in employment or corporate law.

The link doesn't tell you who is getting laid off. It tells you who has already been laid off. It was just updated with the March layoffs. It is interesting but that's about all.

1st you have to go to the March tab. The list is long so it'll take a while to populate. Go to your region....view by position/age. If there is a 1 in the March column, supposedly that means layoff for that person. Again I would not rely on this stupid list

Please do not think this list means you are 100% safe or not. You can be safe today and cut tomorrow so I say FCK the list. Come to work, do your job and go home. Live your life!!!!
