Has anyone filed and received unemployment from the state of Colorado?

You will not be able to draw unemployment funds until your severance weeks are up. I read the booklet and did not see anywhere in there where you would get unemployment right away.
I understand that, it also says may delay your payment, but I also read that if you receive a lump sum payout that you will get the UI benefit without delay. That's why I wanted to see if anyone got it
Go to the website and read the unemployment handbook. It states that you can file, but if you receive severance and/ or vacation pay, that your payments will be delayed until those funds are used.
