Thread regarding Halliburton Co. layoffs

Using FSA after being laid off, is it still active until the end of the month?

I still had money left on my FSA when I was laid off on the 15th this month and PayFlex said it is still active. Has anyone had any experience with Halliburton coming back for charges after the termination date and before the end of the month?

Correct. I paid off sons braces in January $2550 on FSA.... All falls back on Halliburton as benefit (oldest trick in the book)

I spoke with both HR and PayFlex people and was told the same thing. Whatever the balance shows you can spend no matter how much you have contributed to date. Just be sure to use it before the end of month you were laid off.
