Thread regarding Syntel Inc. layoffs

I worked for this company for 4 years and recently came out (thank god)!

On rather serious note all good people please don't do any mistakes by joining SYNTEL. Its a hostile environment completely driven by non performers at B5 and B6 and VP levels. The people at B5 and B6 levels are set of jurks who wanna feed on your hard work to get higher salaries and promotions.

JUST STAY AWAY from this company

one missing golden rule. chatus are the first to be promoted as managers and then DM , DDs etc as they cant do any work then are promoted as managers to justify the false credit given to him by manager and them the chain continues. and tham chatu becomes DM DD etc.

By the time he is cought and kicked out he would have made enough money and bought a dozen home in pune, chennai etc.

better be chatu than techie

Poor guy u should always try to work as per needs of company. If company values chatu guys u also become chatu guy and enjoy life .

being chatu is way much easier than leaning tech and struggling to meet deadlines.

if you are chatu there are lot of advantages

  • ur manager will always be supportive if there is unreasonable deadline.

  • blame for missed deadslines will automatically go on non chatus.

  • golden all chatus are always right.

  • if project / customer is lost it is because of attitude problem of non chatus who have aptitude and

no attitude all chatus automatically get positive credit for working hard to make proejct success even though it must of failed because of them)

  • Chatus are first tobe put in safe positions in case of layoff.

Finally Chatus get project easily, they are never interviewed. Others are interviewed and

to learn how to be chatu and be in limelight contact inderjit butt in MSO pune. this guy was never on bench (even though nonhis projects ever succeeded). Always got good rating. have visa for dozen countries. All support groups admin hr,pdac oblize him)

90% of time he is at tapri smoking and chatting

u can give lean idea that chatupan can be made a topic in new employee induction program and gain valuable visibility by making CBT and put it in

Oh ! 4 months is enough to understand it is pot of rotten stuff. U took 4 years....to know and quit.. sad.

Any one who saw the stinking and aged chairs and out datad PC in S3 building and no infra support (TSG committes etc. ) would know that this is wrong place to be in. It just takes one month for any new guy to experience severe back pain after sitting in the poor quality chairs (even new ones) provided there.

Hr is full of clue less people who keep running around DM to get positive feedback about them selves.

Rakesh Khanna tuzhe Teri Mari Maa ki sau , kitana c...,.ya banayega bd ko, bas kar ab n quit Syntel so that some better person like Prashant Ranade come and take company to next level. Kaha fedega ye paap tere wajah se good ppl were laid off and chatu ppl were retained.
