I had 38 years in with halliburton but as a manager i could see the writing on the wall as the financials were getting worse every month. I was laid off when we closed our base so i moved to mexico and am enjoying life without the stress that came with the job. Yaa, time for a cold pacifico.

Thats a war zone, you must be on something.
if you have a pension and 401k and are eligible to retire now is the time to do it. not sure why so many folks with 35+ years in a company or industry are whining. I would gladly go but still have 12 years more to work
